- My husband, son & I moved to Alaska in 1997 due to what we lovingly call "The Mid Life Adventure Phase" and have loved it ever since. We enjoy the outdoor activities such as fishing, snow machine riding and currently flying a Custom built Super Cub. I have been in the floral design and home decor industry since 1982. I have not had any formal training however since I was not given the talent to play the piano I was grateful for the talent given to me to do what I love to do...accessorize homes & businesses with floral arrangements and finishing touches that make the space reflect a personal personality.
